TopShopper Remote provides a Secure Server Service. This will be particularly useful for merchants that can process credit card details themselves. For only £1/month extra, the merchant can use TopShopper's Secure Server to collect Credit/Debit Card details from the Shopper. These details are sent straight to the merchants administration e-mail address.

However, for security reasons, the credit card number and security code are encrypted. The merchant can decrypt this information by using a facility made available to them. The merchant can normally get the credit/debit card number by simply clicking on a link provided in the e-mail sent from our secure server.

The security of the system relies on the merchant keeping secret their password for entering the administration area . If a merchant believes that the password is known to others, they should contact TopShopper immediately to get this password changed.
