VAT State

You can switch VAT on here.
When VAT is switched off, no VAT information needs to be sent to our cart.
When VAT is switched on, the system uses VAT Codes to determine how much VAT needs to be added.

UK Codes
The UK codes are 0,1 and 2. When information is sent to the cart about a product, and VAT is switched on, you should include a VAT Code.
The VAT Codes are:
0 = Zero rated e.g. books, aids for the handicapped.
1 = Standard Rate (Currently 15.0%)
2 = Reduced Rates (Currently 5%) e.g. fuel.

Ireland Tax Codes
0=Zero rated e.g. Exports, food drink
3=Standard Rate (Currently 21.5%)

4=Fuel,Electricity etc.(Currently 13.5%)
